  • The account may allow you to use the deposit as collateral for loans or overdrafts. 

  • Minimum opening deposit of UGX 10,000 may apply.

  • Early withdrawal or pre-maturity access may be restricted or come with reduced interest or penalties. 

  • Terms Tenure: Often 12, 24 or 36 months. 

  • Interest Rates: 12 months: 9.00% p.a. 24 months: 9.50% p.a. 36 months: 9.75% p.a. 

  • Can you borrow against the deposit.

  • Valid identity document (Passport/ National Identity Card)

  • Passport size photographs
